MIAMI—The Florida Marlins have selected RBB Public Relations as their public relations firm and HDC of Fort Lauderdale to lead the Major League Baseball team’s advertising and creative campaign for 2003.
“The combination of RBB and HDC is the next step in our commitment to South Florida,” said Marlins chairman Jeffrey Loria. “The ability of both organizations will help strengthen our off the field initiative of growing ties within our community and will have a direct impact on our marketing and sales.”
The Marlins, who have struggled on the field and in terms of attendance since winning the World Series in 1997, will partner with RBB to gain increased exposure throughout the South Florida community.
