NEW YORK—GCI Health has promoted Kim Sammons to market leader of the firm’s Atlanta office, while former Atlanta market leader Valerie Lind moves to a national role as head of GCI Health’s corporate health and medical technology sectors. Both will report to Wendy Lund, CEO.

Sammons joined GCI Health in late 2011. Before that, she was at cause alliance firm For Momentum, where she was a VP, handling corporate sponsor summits designed to expand and create partnerships between patient advocacy groups and for-profit organizations. She also has six years of experience at Porter Novelli, where she spent time as deputy director of the Atlanta office.

Lind joined GCI Health in 2006, after four years client-side at medical technology company Medtronic. In her new national role, Lind will be in charge of developing GCI Health’s thought leadership and client base in the rapidly growing corporate health and medical technology sectors, while continuing to focus on key Atlanta clients.
