SEATTLE—David Marriott and Joel VanEtta, formerly of Gogerty Marriott, have joined Allison+Partners’ corporate practice, expanding the agency's senior talent in crisis and public affairs.

Marriott has been appointed managing director, reputation risk, and will report to senior partner and global head of corporate Matthew Della Croce. VanEtta has joined as a senior vice president in the corporate practice, and will report to Marriott. Both will be based in Seattle.

Prior to his work at Gogerty Marriott, Marriott was an Emmy-winning television news reporter for Seattle's CBS affiliate, KIRO-TV. He was also press secretary for former Seattle Mayor Wes Uhlman and has held several other senior corporate communications positions in the Pacific Northwest.
