TUSTIN, CA—InterCast One, a provider of Internet broadcasting solutions, and CrossMedia, the broadcast publicity subsidiary of Golin/Harris International, have launched a new service that combines rich online content and interactivity with traditional satellite media tours. The service will be called SMTi (Satellite Media Tour Interactive).
InterCast One provides the proprietary software platform, streaming and Internet infrastructure and online publicity services for SMTi. CrossMedia provides all media notification, monitoring and reporting services, as well as broadcast production services.
“Rather than just talking to an audience, SMTi allows companies to engage in a real conversation and lets more media in on the conversation,” said Linda Zimmer, CEO of InterCast One and Sideshow Network.
