The SABREs – the world’s most coveted public relations awards – are seeking the best public relations work, from campaigns to content creation, conducted over the past year. You can download entry forms from our website, but I want to draw your attention to some exciting changes we have implemented for the 2012 awards competition.  First, our new DIAMOND SABRE Awards are designed to recognize the increased contribution public relations is making in the C-suite, honoring the role of public relations is building brand platforms and corporate reputation, focusing in on measurement and evaluation, and spotlighting companies and CEOs that use public relations on a strategic level to enhance business success. And second, our expanded SILVER SABRE Awards (formerly Bronze and Iron) are designed to focus on the wide range of content creation for which public relations is now responsible, from some traditional print and broadcast materials to new digital and social media categories.
