LONDON--Anthony Wilson, co-founder of Hotwire, is to step down in early 2012.

Wilson founded the technology agency in 2000 with chairman Kristin Syltevik, and served as operations director and CFO for the past decade.

Hotwire CEO Brendon Craigie told the Holmes Report that Wilson will be “taking a year out, and thinking about what he wants to do next.”

Hotwire was sold to Australia’s Photon Group in 2007, but Craigie denied that Wilson’s exit coincided with the end of the firm’s earn-out period.

Prior to founding Hotwire, Wilson was finance director at Paragon, and European finance director at Shandwick International.
