LONDON--Hotwire has named Isabel Fox as CEO of its new operations in the US, after acquiring her firm IF Communications.

Fox brings a transatlantic team of staff and clients from IF Communications, the firm that she previously founded and led. Hotwire launches in the US with offices in New York and San Francisco, and has also appointed ex-Waggener Edstrom VP Kelley Joyce as MD in New York.

IF clients that transfer to Hotwire include Silicon Valley Bank, Intel Capital, InMobi, Octopus, Wellington Partners, Fjord, NCIIA, Expertmaker and Marmalade.

Separate to the US launch, Cordelia Meacher, formerly head of IF Communications in the UK, joins Hotwire’s UK senior management team as a director.

The US offices join Hotwire's existing operations in the UK, Europe and Australia. “Expanding to the US has always been part of Hotwire’s long term vision and it’s thrilling to make this exciting development happen," said Hotwire founder and group chairman Kristin Syltevik. "Together with recent developments such as our new 40-person team in Australia and the launch of our affiliate network, the launch of our US operation pushes us from a regional European agency to a global player providing our clients with a worldwide footprint."

Fox reports to Hotwire’s group CEO Brendon Craigie.
