LONDON: Hotwire has been selected to handle European PR for 1E, a software company that improves enterprise IT efficiency.

The agency secures the brief following a pitch that included several international agencies, and will manage the campaign from the UK.

In addition, Hotwire will undertake specific projects in France and Germany.

1E helps its customers - including Dell, Ford, HSBC and Verizon Wireless - identify and reduce IT costs and waste. The comms programme will attempt to raise 1E’s profile in the trade and national media, targeting a boardroom-level audience.

 “IT efficiency, specifically saving money, energy and reducing IT excess is a topic that demands a lot of attention in the boardroom of any forward-thinking organisation,” said 1E EMEA VP of marketing, Gavin Bradbury. “We needed a campaign that would get our voice heard and secure greater visibility and awareness of the 1E brand.”

Bradbury added that Hotwire’s social media and European capabilities had proved pivotal to the account win.
