LONDON — Communications group Huntsworth has promoted its chief financial officer Neil Jones to the newly-created post of chief operating officer, with oversight of the group’s communications agencies.

The group’s communications and consulting division includes Grayling, Red Consultancy and Citigate Dewe Rogerson, as well as experiential agency The Creative Engagement Group and reputation consultancy Quiller.

Jones is succeeded as CFO by Ben Jackson, previously Huntsworth’s head of finance.

Huntsworth CEO Paul Taaffe (pictured) said: “Huntsworth has grown rapidly over the last two years and these appointments will allow us to scale even further. Neil has already proven to be a very commercial chief financial officer and as chief operating officer will focus on improving all operational aspects of the group and driving growth.”

The move is the latest in a series of management changes within the group, which last month promoted Grayling UK chief executive Sarah Scholefield and chairman Richard Jukes to the same roles across Grayling’s European offices.
