WASHINGTON, DC—Three former General Motors executives have formed The Hawksbill Group, which will counsel clients on global business, communications and public affairs issues. The firm is led by CEO Bob Ferguson, former senior vice president of global public policy at GM, and co-founders Jaime Ardila, who served as the automaker’s president, South America, and Tim Lee, who was executive vice president, global manufacturing, and chairman, GM China. The three met first when serving together on the General Motors senior executive committee and were a part of a team that guided GM out of bankruptcy.

The firm also plans to open a Singapore office in early 2017 and will continue its expansion targeting key markets in the ASEAN region. It currently has 80 team members working across seven offices in three countries.
