AUSTIN, TX – PulsePoint Group founder Jeff Hunt has launched a new brand and reputation management firm, called Legend Labs.

Hunt has two partners in the venture: Ahmed Khamash and James Wakefield, both of whom worked with Hunt at PulsePoint Group, which he sold to Olson in 2013.

Before creating PulsePoint in 2009, Hunt served as Burson-Marsteller vice chairman and GCI Group and Read-Poland Associates CEO.

Legend Labs is launching with offices in Austin and New York, and will focus on serving clients in the pro and college sports, higher education, cybersecurity and energy businesses. Launch clients include the NCAA’s West Coast and Pac-12 conferences, Caterpillar and Johns Hopkins University.

“We created Legend Labs because most brands are struggling to adapt to the digital age,” said Hunt. “We think we have the right mix of traditional brand expertise and digital prowess to help.”
