NEW YORK—Cohn & Wolfe has appointed Jim Joseph as president of North America, to oversee and drive business across all offices in the US, Mexico and Canada. His responsibilities include operational and strategic oversight, client service and satisfaction, new business and employee development and retention. Joseph will also lead the New York office, the agency’s headquarters, where he will be based. He will report to Donna Imperato, chief executive officer.

Joseph joins Cohn & Wolfe from Lippe Taylor, where as president and partner he led the firm’s efforts for clients including IKEA, David’s Bridal, Nestle and Elizabeth Arden. Joseph also spent 12 years at Publicis Groupe, most recently as managing director of Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, which he transformed from a traditional pharmaceutical advertising model to a full-spectrum health and wellness marketing agency.

Joseph also established and grew his own marketing services agency, CPPartners, which sold to Publicis in 2002. Earlier, he held marketing positions at Arm & Hammer and Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products.
