NEW YORK—Brunswick Group has hired veteran internal communications professional Keith Burton as a partner in the firm's New York office to help lead its employee communications and engagement practice. Burton will focus on change management, post-merger integration communications, and employee engagement.

Burton joins Brunswick after 14 years at the Insidedge unit of GolinHarris, where he served as president for the last seven years. Previously, he held various senior roles at Golin, Hill & Knowlton and Ketchum.

Golin’s Insidedge practice will be led by managing director Linda Kingman, who takes over from Burton. She brings 30 years of experience, including eight with the agency, will be based in Chicago. Prior to joining GolinHarris and Insidedge, Kingman spent seven years as vice president of corporate communications for Kemper Insurance Co.

Under Kingman’s leadership Insidedge will focus on developing deeper strength in internal branding, M&A communications and training and facilitation. This week, Carolyn Hoenk rejoined Insidedge as a vice president to lead its work in crisis communications.
