NEW YORK — KWT Global co-founder Gabrielle Zucker has been named the agency’s first president.
In the newly created role, Zucker will work with agency leaders on business development and promoting operational excellence in its New York, London and Toronto offices.
Zucker also will oversee a portfolio of brands, including clients that span borders. KWT’s regional managing directors will report to her.
Zucker has held several leadership roles in the 14 years since launching the agency, originally called Kwittken, with CEO Aaron Kwittken and Jason Schlossberg, who left the firm roughly two years ago to create a PR offering for the digital agency Huge. Zucker most recently served as executive VP and global MD.
“Gabrielle has been the most instrumental person in the founding of our agency,” Kwittken said. “Her contributions helped propel our global growth, and her award-winning client work earned us numerous, prestigious accolades over the years. I can’t think of a better partner to help me lead KWT Global.”
Creating the president role is the latest in a string of recent operational changes at the agency. On the heels of Schlossberg’s departure, the firm realigned into two groups, one focused on brand strategy and one on corporate.
Last August, the firm changed its name from Kwittken to KWT Global. The move was meant to reflect the company’s evolution as an integrated agency and marks a deliberate shift towards being known as a global brand strategy agency, KWT said.
