NEW YORK—Brunswick Group has hired Samantha Lucas, former chair of the US brand marketing practice at Burson-Marsteller, and Robert Moran, former president of the US operations of Edelman research unit StrategyOne, as partners in the New York and Washington, DC, offices respectively.

Lucas has more than 20 years of experience, most recently as chair for Burson-Marsteller’s US brand practice, leading communications programs for companies such as Ford, Fidelity, Merrill Lynch and Comcast and as chief executive of the agency’s PivotRed international brand and corporate reputation consultancy.

Prior to joining Burson-Marsteller in 1999, Lucas worked for TSI Communications in New York and for Brodeur Worldwide in London.

Prior to StrategyOne, Moran was vice president at Fabrizio, McLaughlin & Associates and began his career at Public Opinion Strategies. He has worked with clients including Visa, Walmart, SC Johnson, Humana, Monsanto, Boeing, Ingersoll-Rand, Mubadala and the United Arab Emirates.

At Brunswick he will direct the expansion and development of the firm’s insight practice in the Americas, providing expertise in opinion and market research, corporate reputation, issues and crisis management, forecasting, analytics and brand research.
