ST. LOUIS — FleishmanHillard has tapped SVP and partner Mark Mortell to be the agency’s first chief global client leadership officer, charged with heading the firm’s recently expanded office dedicated to serving large international businesses.

Mortell, who joined FleishmanHillard in 2002, has been central to the global leadership initiative, which over the last two years has grown to provide clients across industries, and across regions, an international network of services.

Since 2011, Mortell has served as the global leader for OneVoice, a coalition of Omnicom agencies serving the global health-tech giant Philips. He is a member of the agency’s leadership cabinet and has been part of the senior management team for a number of years.

“Mark has extensive experience leading teams and supporting clients across the globe,” said FleishmanHillard president and CEO John Saunders. “His ability to build relationships, solve problems and tap into our networks for talent, expertise and creativity make him the ideal person to take on this challenge and launch the GCL program to new heights.”
