NEW YORK — Mastercard has appointed Andres Siefken executive vice present of marketing and communications for North America. He will be responsible for developing and implementing communications and marketing strategies aiming to reinforce the value of the company's products and services.

We look forward to tapping into Andres' unique know how across to help deepen our efforts to drive stronger connections with our customers and cardholders."

Siefken's 20-year career in the consumer packaged goods and retail industries began at Procter & Gamble. He joins Mastercard from the New England Consulting Group, where he served as advisor and principal, focusing on developing and implementing transformational strategies to accelerate growth. 

Prior to that, he was chief marketing officer and executive vice president of Daymon Worldwide, working with private brand development and retail services. At Daymon he was responsible for leading the corporate branding, global marketing, analytics and innovation teams for the company's five business, as well as the operation of the Galileo Global Brand Group agency.
