NEW YORK—MWW Group has been selected as global communications partner for Social Media Week, a global event designed to connect people, content and conversation around emerging trends in social and mobile media. MWW will provide strategic PR support and counsel to raise awareness of the event as the world's premier social media conference.
In addition, MWW president and CEO Michael Kempner has been appointed to the conference's global advisory board and will serve as a strategic advisor to the event.
Social Media Week's most recent event in February drew 30,000 registered participants to live events and over 80,000 viewers to watch via live streams. This year’s Social Media Week will focus on how societies, cultures, and economies around the world have evolved and changed because of the way individuals connect and communicate.
