NEW YORK—MWW has added Booking.com, a leader in the global online hotel and accommodations sector, to its client roster. As lead PR agency of record in the United States, MWW will build awareness for Booking.com among American consumers seeking both vacation and business travel accommodations.

MWW’s communications program will fuse traditional and digital strategies as part of anintegrated marketing strategy to introduce Booking.com to the US market. The company recently announced a significant US advertising campaign developed by Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam.

“Booking.com searched for a PR partner that understood and got excited about our value proposition and meshed with our culture,” said Paul Hennessy, chief marketing officer, Booking.com. “We selected the MWW team because they knew how to become an extension of our broader marketing communications program as we introduce Americans to the world’s best-kept travel secret.”

MWW will draw on its experience in e-commerce and consumer marketing, which includes work with such brands as 1-800-Flowers.com, Nextag.com and Dealer.com. The account will be led from MWW’s New York office.
