SAN FRANCISCO—MWW Group has been hired as agency of record by Eventbrite, a global self-service ticketing platform based in San Francisco. Founded in 2006, Eventbrite enables users to create, promote, find, share, and buy or sell tickets to events of all kinds and sizes, from tech conferences and concerts to fundraisers and sporting events.
As agency of record, MWW Group will help Eventbrite build its national brand and promote its services, which help people organize and discover new events. MWW recently worked with Eventbrite to promote the release of the Eventbrite Mobile App, the company’s first-ever product built entirely for event attendees which also offers paperless ticketing.
“MWW Group’s expertise with lifestyle media really drove our decision,” says Vanessa Hope Schneider, senior public relations manager at Eventbrite. “Because supporting the growth of local communities is central to our mission of making it easy for people to get together offline, we found MWW’s strengths across offices throughout the country to be a great fit for our brand strategy.”
The Eventbrite account will be led out of MWW Group’s San Francisco office by a team that will include members of its technology and digital content practice and media strategies team.
