HELSINKI — Neste’s corporate communications director Kaisa Lipponen is moving to head up communications at Nordic food and drink group Paulig after nine years at the Finnish renewable energy company.

Taking up the post of SVP, communications and sustainability in August, Lipponen will join the Paulig group leadership team. The company's brands including Santa Maria, Poco Loco, Gold&Green and Risenta.

Lipponen joined Neste in 2010 and had led external communications since 2013, supporting the company’s transformation from a national oil company into a leading renewable fuel company and the world’s third most sustainable company.

Paulig Group CEO Rolf Ladau said: “We welcome Kaisa Lipponen to this new position. She has an international profile, with solid knowledge of how to develop impactful communications and sustainable brand according to our strategic ambitions.”

Before joining Neste, Lipponen worked as an account director and team leader at communications and PR agency Miltton. She is also the chair of ProCom, the Finnish Association of Communication Professionals.
