NEW YORK – Ogilvy PR has formed a new board to advise CEO Stuart Smith and the newly expanded executive committee on strategies related to growing talent, innovation and digital capabilities. The board reports to Ogilvy's global chair Christopher Graves.
“The Board brings together people from a wide variety of backgrounds, demographics and responsibilities," Smith said. "Leveraging a diverse range of skills and talent will generate real value for our people, our clients and our business."
Most of the board appointments are intended for a two-year term, with some positions that rotate annually.
"The intention is to keep the Board fresh, adding new thinking every year," Graves said. "The opportunity for Ogilvy PR – and for the industry as a whole – is to re-define the role of public relations in the digital marketplace."
