LONDON — Haircare brand Aussie has appointed H+K Strategies to handle its UK media relations account. The move is part of an ongoing shuffle of P&G's brands across its agency roster.

The Aussie brand was founded in Australia in 1979 and has been part of P&G’s haircare portfolio since 2003. Its first product, the ‘3 Minute Miracle’ intensive conditioner, is the number one selling haircare treatment in the UK and the brand now has 60 products which are sold worldwide.

Aussie’s previous UK media relations agency was DeVries Global, which still looks after the brand globally and in the US. DeVries also works with P&G haircare brand Pantene EMEA out of its London office.

H+K already works with other P&G beauty brands, including Braun. Ketchum currently handles media relations in the UK for P&G’s other haircare brands, Head & Shoulders and Herbal Essences.

H+K and P&G would not comment on the account move.
