LONDON — Global recruitment firm PageGroup has hired 3 Monkeys Zeno (3MZ) to handle integrated communications across its brands in the UK after a four-way competitive pitch.

The agency, which takes over the account from incumbent WE after three years, will be handling consumer and B2B communications for the FTSE 250-listed recruitment company’s four main brands: Page Executive, Michael Page, Page Personnel and Page Outsourcing.

PageGroup UK marketing director Alex Bates said the integrated brief included PR, social media, content and multi-channel activity. He told the Holmes Report: “3 Monkeys Zeno came across strongly in terms of understanding our market and our challenges – there is a lot of competition in recruitment so cutting through with engaging content is important. They are a good fit for us.”

He added: "Our focus is on providing personalised, relevant info to our candidates and clients, and being an authority for each stage of an individual’s career. Our marketing needs to be integrated across channels so we have one voice and 3MZ will help to bring that to our programme.”

Sarah Ogden, head of corporate and business at 3MZ, said: "Recruitment is a great measure for the fast changing world of today. A brand with the depth of experience and expertise of PageGroup makes it an excellent client to work with. It's great to have such a forward-thinking client ready to do things differently."
