LONDON — Playtech, the world’s largest supplier of online gaming and sports betting software, has appointed Coolr as its first social agency of record.

The global brief from the London Stock Exchange-listed company, which had revenue of €1.24 billion in 2018, covers strategy and implementation.

Coolr will target B2B audiences such as online casinos across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, working alongside Playtech’s PR agency, Headland.

Playtech’s director of corporate affairs James Newman said: “Playtech is a global company in everything we do and the need for an integrated communications approach is essential. We wanted to work with an agency that brings a genuine understanding of how social can be used to deliver impact. We believe we found that with Coolr”.

Coolr founder and CEO Adam Clyne added: “Playtech is synonymous with technology and innovation and has a great story to tell. We are delighted to be partnering with them on this programme to build their profile on social. We are seeing great traction for the social part of our offering and have some great brands and some great work under our belt. We are excited to add Playtech to this list.”

Playtech joins other Coolr social media clients including Burger King.
