MINNEAPOLIS—Padilla Speer Beardsley has hired Gregory Voeller to lead its employee communication practice. Most recently, Voeller was director of global employee communications for Rockwell Automation, a Milwaukee-based Fortune 500 manufacturing company with operations in more than 80 countries and a PSB client.

During his tenure at Rockwell Automation, Voeller developed and implemented internal communication strategy and programs related to business performance, crisis management, and various employee and labor relations issues.

Before joining Rockwell Automation, Voeller was manager of internal communications for Schneider National, one of the largest truckload carriers in North America.

“There has never been a better time for organizations to increase the effectiveness of their employee communication strategies and programs, and thereby increase their overall organization performance,” says Lynn Casey, PSB chief executive officer. “Greg understands complex organizations and will do an excellent job in assisting clients in the areas of strategic communications planning, communication coaching and media development.”
