Publicis Groupe has acquired London-based healthcare firm Resolute Communications.
Resolute, which also counts a New York office, will be merged with Publicis Life Brands in London to become Publicis Life Brands Resolute.
The agency's founders, Paul Blackburn and Anna Korving, become joint MDs of the newly-merged entity, reporting to Alain Sarraf, Europe president of Publicis Groupe's healthcare arm: Publicis Healthcare Communications Group (PHCG).
The new operation will employ nearly 100 people, offering the full range of healthcare communications.
PHCG currently manages 16 agency brands across 10 countries, employing nearly 3,000 staff. It claims to the be the largest health-oriented agency network in the world.
