STOCKHOLM — Leading Nordic public affairs consultancy Rud Pedersen is planning a change of leadership in Sweden, with deputy MD Kristina von Sydow stepping up to the managing partner role this summer.

The current managing partner, Andreas Krohn, will move into a strategic management role within Rud Pedersen Group, focusing on the development and expansion of the whole group. He will still be based in Stockholm.

Morten Rud Pedersen, CEO of the Rud Pedersen Group, said: “Kristina's qualities, both as a consultant and as a leader, make her very well suited to continue driving the development of Rud Pedersen to further strengthen our offerings to our clients.”

Von Sydow has experience from a variety of public sector organisations, including working for the Swedish Ministry of Justice, the EU Commission and as a lawyer at the European Parliament.

She said: “It is becoming increasingly business-critical for our customers to have a good understanding of political processes and a clear plan for strategic social contacts for public/private sector interactions. I look forward to working with our expert team of consultants and specialists to take Rud Pedersen to the next level.”
