MIAMI— As social purpose becomes more paramount to business success, a panel of marketers from brands that have achieved success while doing good will talk about how public benefit companies are reshaping corporate narratives at PRovoke17.

Senior communications and marketing executives from DanoneWave, Seventh Generation and Patagonia will join a conversation moderated by Scott Allison, CEO of Allison+Partners, about the journey from intent to B corps certification and the critical role communications plays in explaining what these certifications mean to the public, the benefits they bring and how it will ultimately manifest within a business.

Logan Durant from Patagonia, Michael J. Neuwirth from DanoneWave and Brandi Thomas from Seventh Generation join the Allison + Partners-sponsored session “B Corps and Public Benefit Companies: Changing the Face of Business One Story at a Time” at PRovoke17, the Global Public Relations Summit, which takes place at the St Regis Bal Harbour resort in Miami from October 23-25.

They join Tali Sharot, a leading expert on human decision-making, optimism and emotion, who will discuss “Why Facts Don’t Unite Us” at the upcoming event and noted documentarian Lynn Novick—who has partnered with filmmaker Ken Burns for nearly three decades—and a host of speakers to be announced in the coming weeks at the Summit, which is the largest gathering of public relations leaders from around the world.

From September 1-5 tickets for the event are available at a 25% discount.
