TROY, February 6—OnStar has named Terry Sullivan as vice president of communications. He succeeds Deborah Frakes who has been named as director of communications for General Motors’ Powertrain organization. In his new role, Sullivan will be responsible for developing and executing OnStar’s global communications and public relations strategy.
Prior to joining OnStar, Sullivan was director of communications for GM’s U.S. Vehicle Sales, Services & Marketing group, where he was responsible for communications activities, including public relations and media relations support for sales, pricing, marketing, advertising, philanthropy and diversity, corporate sponsorships, as well as employee and dealer communications.
Sullivan has been with General Motors since 1973.
