LONDON—Edelman has appointed Stephen Cheliotis as head of brand and creative insight UK. In this newly-created role, Cheliotis will work across the UK business to oversee brand strategy and creative planning and insights.

He will also remain as chief executive of The Centre for Brand Analysis and chairman of the UK Consumer Superbrands, Business Superbrands and CoolBrands Councils whilst at Edelman.

Cheliotis joined Superbrands in 2001. In 2003 he became managing director, moving into a European role two years later. In 2007, he founded TCBA, and continues to be contracted to run the Superbrands selection process in the UK, and act as its spokesperson. His other work at TCBA has included brand evaluation and perception studies, market analysis, and strategic planning for brand owners.
