NEW YORK — After a year-plus at Zeno, Suresh Raj has joined Vision7 International as the holding company’s first chief business development officer.

Most recently Zeno’s managing director of global business development, Raj will be driving new business efforts for Vision7’s brands including PR shop Citizen Relations, Cossette, V7 Media, Eleven and Camps.

Raj also is charged with boosting collaboration among Vision7’s firms, which includes creating cross-agency teams to hand clients’ range of needs. “It is key to bringing all these formidable businesses forward,” he said, adding that he was drawn to Vision7’s “intriguing, powerful” leadership style. He will be based in New York, reporting to Vision7 CEO Brett Marchand.

Raj has spent the bulk of his career in business development. Before joining Zeno, Raj was at Ogilvy PR for nearly five years, including two as worldwide chief business development officer. Earlier in his career, Raj served as MHP Communications’ new business director and Consolidated PR’s head of new business.
