AUSTIN, March 20—Texas Economic Development has selected TateAustin, an Austin-based public relations firm, to lead communications efforts surrounding its “Marketing the Lone Star State” campaign. The contract is valued at $100,000 and runs through August 31.
TateAustin will create and implement a pilot communications program to generate new economic development leads for referral to communities across the state. The firm will partner with NION Interactive, an Austin-based interactive marketing company, which will design a multimedia marketing campaign for use by communities statewide.
“By hiring TateAustin and NION Interactive we signal to communities around Texas that our agency is committed to seeing them prosper and grow,” said Jeff Moseley, executive director of Texas Economic Development. “We also want to promote Texas as a premier business location to companies across the country. No one has ever made a bad decision by bringing their business to Texas.”
