LONDON — Taylor Herring has restructured its leadership team, hiring Kat Dare as head of brand strategy and promoting Sam Corry to the senior leadership team as associate director.
Dare was formerly an associate at global agency Iris and was also part of the senior team at Unity. Reporting into managing partners James Herring, Peter Mountstevens and Cath Taylor, Dare’s role is intended to strengthen the agency’s strategic offer.
Corry, who joined the agency six years ago, has played a key role in building the agency’s integrated offering.
The restructure follows a series of account wins, including Autotrader, Boden, Coca-Cola and Iceland foods, which join Samsung, Greggs, Diageo, Paddy Power, Sky, UKTV and easyJet on the agency’s roster. Last month Taylor Herring picked up three Cannes Lions for creative work across PR, social and film categories.
Herring said: “Sam and Kat encapsulate the spirit of Taylor Herring: they have a thirst for great creative work and a desire to stand out and do things differently. The agency’s output and creative direction has changed beyond all recognition in recent months.
He added that 2019 has so far been “a standout year,” commercially and creatively: “We’re now delivering more fully integrated campaigns that span social and PR but also across paid channels including OOH, TV and film. We’re on a drive to build the best multi discipline creative team in the industry.”
Dare said: “I couldn’t be happier to join Taylor Herring, an agency which to me epitomises what modern creative PR looks like. It’s a really exciting time to join in this new role to help shape and hone the future of the agency, working with some of the best PR minds in the business.”
Corry added: “Helping to grow the UK’s leading creative PR agency has been a hugely exciting and rewarding journey. I’m looking forward to working with the senior team to ensure the agency continues to build industry-leading campaigns, whilst further shaping the agency’s integrated offering.”
