LAUSANNE—Tetra Pak, the world's largest food packaging company, has commenced a search for global PR support.

The Holmes Report understands that the company has reached out to a number of global PR firms regarding the assignment.

A privately-owned company worth more than €11bn and employing over 23,000 people, Tetra Pak is best known for its carton packaging, a market that it dominates.

A Tetra Pak spokesperson declined to comment on the search. It is understood that Tetra Pak currently works with Cohn & Wolfe, after previously retaining Waggener Edstrom. Before the WagEd relationship, the company worked with Golin.

Separately, Tetra Pak has hired H+K Strategies to support its advocacy efforts in Russia. The public affairs assignment covers waste management and supporting environmentally beneficial economic development, calling for engagement with various public and private stakeholder groups around the development of regulation.
