HONG KONG—Non-profit Transparency International and its agency Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide took home the Platinum SABRE Award for the best public relations campaign of the past year at the 2017 Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards ceremony in Hong Kong last night, winning out from among 1,200 entries in this year’s competition.
The “Uncover the Truth” campaign drew attention to a new law in Sri Lanka that forced public disclosure of government information and allowed the relatives of human rights victims to learn the fate of their loved ones. It beat out four other Platinum nominated campaigns for the Best in Show honors:

Japanese giant Dentsu and global agency Weber Shandwick and its clients took home the most trophies, with five Gold and Diamond winners each, ahead of Adfactors, Burson-Marsteller, and Edelman (four each), and Hill+Knowlton Strategies, Ogilvy Public Relations and Text 100 (three each).
