ATLANTA—Jeff Pomeroy, a 20-year PR veteran, has left Turner Sports to launch JDP Communications, a full-service boutique sports and entertainment PR firm with an initial roster of clients that includes A & M Holding Group; the owners and operators of Sadekar World Golf, All-American Games; and the owners and producers of the US Army All-American Bowl, and Kenny Smith Entertainment Group.

At Turner Sports, Pomeroy oversaw the day-to-day operations for the division’s linear and digital assets, including televised coverage of the NBA, NCAA, MLB, NASCAR and professional golf across networks TNT, TBS and truTV, and online assets NASCAR.COM, PGATour.COM, PGA.com, Golf.com, NBA Digital, NCAA Digital, SI.com, and more.

During his 12-years at Turner Sports, Pomeroy served as a spokesman and advisor on key issues including crisis communications, and developed, planned and implemented strategic communications through traditional and non-traditional forms of print, online, broadcast and social media.

Prior to working on Turner Sports’ myriad of properties, Pomeroy served as director of public relations for the Goodwill Games and spent five years in Showtime Networks’ sports & event programming department in New York.
