BERLIN—Leading UK-based independents Unity and Brands2Life enjoyed the greatest success in the EMEA region In2 SABRE Awards, which recognize excellence in insight and innovation and focus on content creation, digital and social media, and data and analytics.

Unity won five In2 SABRE Awards and notched up a remarkable 25 honorees in the In2 categories. Brands2Life will receive three awards when the trophies are presented during the In2 Summit, which will be held in Berlin on May 25, ahead of the EMEA region SABRE Awards dinner that evening.

“The quality of content creation in Europe has improved dramatically since we introduced the In2 SABRE Awards five years ago,” says Holmes Report founder Paul Holmes, who chaired the SABRE Awards jury. “We are seeing more and better entries in digital media, across a wide range of social channels, involving animation and gamification, as public relations agencies experiment with new tools for engaging consumers.”

In additional to Unity and Brands2Life, other multiple winners were Edelman, Swiss corporate specialist Farner, and Weber Shandwick (including its Swedish subsidiary Prime)—each with two trophies.

Several agencies notched multiple finalists including Ketchum and Ogilvy (nine each);MSLGroup (eight, including two for its salterbaxter subsidiary); FleishmanHillard and Norwegian firm Geelmuyden Kiese (five each).
