LONDON—Cloud company Okta has called on the Octopus Group to manage the company’s UK launch.
Based in in San Francisco and formed just three years ago, Okta's UK launch follows rapid growth in the US. The company already has over 500 enterprise customers, and works with global brands such as LinkedIn, MGM Resorts International, Western Union and SAP.
In September the company secured $27m in series D funding from returning investor Sequoia Capital. This latest financing round has been allocated to help fuel the company's international expansion.
Octopus will report directly to newly appointed Okta European GM Philip Turner. The campaign will comprise thought leadership, media and analyst relations and social media support.
“Octopus Group has a proven reputation for helping fast-growing US brands to establish themselves and grow in the UK and Europe," said Turner.
"The Octopus ION global network was also an important factor in the appointment; Okta has rapid plans to expand across Europe so we need the flexibility and scale of agency that has partners across all of our key target regions.”
