DALLAS—Hill+Knowlton Strategies has hired Jody Venturoni as executive vice president of the US, playing a senior role managing the firm’s practice leaders, ensuring high client service and strategic standards. She will be based in the Dallas office and report directly to Dan Bartlett, US president and CEO.

Venturoni joins from Weber Shandwick where she was president of the Southwest region and the global client relationship leader for the American Airlines account, working closely with H&K chief operating officer Ken Luce, who preceded her in the regional president role at Weber Shandwick.

In her previous role, she managed a team of 90 public relations professionals providing communications services to organizations including Verizon, ExxonMobil, the U.S. Army and Omni Hotels, among others. She also managed the crisis communications and internal communications practices for the region.

Prior to rejoining Weber Shandwick in 1998, Jody was director of public relations and employee communications for Sprint. Previously she was an account director with Weber Shandwick, where she managed the Texas Instruments Semiconductor Group account.
