LONDON — W2O has hired Annalise Coady to lead its tech practice in Europe as the holding group looks to boost its sector footprint globally.

The move comes on the back of notable tech wins like BMC earlier this year. The group's heritage is in the healthcare space but tech now accounts for more than 10 percent of its revenues.

Coady reports into W20's tech practice and analytics lead Tim Marklein.

"She will play a strong leadership role as part of the London leadership team driving international business, as well as serve on the global technology practice leadership team," Marklein said.

Coady was most recently president of FleishmanHillard’s High Road Communications, a position she left in April 2012. Prior to that, she held several senior level posts at Fleishman, including head of its San Francisco office, as well as Middle East and Africa operations.

W20 also hired Dell’s chief blogger Lionel Menchaca as director of content engagement, based in Austin.

The W20 Group is a privately-held holding company that took in $62 million in revenue in 2012.
