SAN FRANCISCO —W2O Group has made a series of senior-level promotions on the heels of announcing a 30 percent increase in revenues in 2012.
Formed last year, W2O Group is an independent network of three agencies spun out of its anchor brand WCG. The privately-held holding company recently reported $62 million in revenues in 2012, up from $47.5 million in 2011.
This week, the holding company announced more than 50 company-wide promotions, including several at the senior level. Aaron Strout, formerly head of the agency’s location-based marketing, is now MD of W2O’s marketing and social commerce practice. Other MD promotions: Hayley Soffer and Carolyn Wang are now MD of WCG healthcare; Mary Claire Duch and Colin Foster are now MD of W20’s integrated marketing shop Twist; Tom Haan is MD of W2O’s storytelling agency BrewLife; and Diane Holst is MD of W2O’s talent and culture and Paul Dyer is MD of media and engagement.
W2O, which has about 350 employees worldwide, has traditionally been known for its healthcare expertise but has recently moved heavily into the analytics space, winning a more diverse roster of clients, including BMC Software.
