SAN FRANCISCO — WE Communications has tapped Trevor Jonas as vice president, digital strategy. In this newly created role, Jonas will be responsible for creating strategic and insight based digital and social campaigns for clients.
Jonas will report to Matt Haynes, senior vice president, integrated services. He is based in WE's San Francisco office, which focuses on consumer, technology and health.

The customer expectation now is that brands are on demand and accessible from anywhere and everywhere," said Kass Sells, president of North America at WE. "Trevor understands this fundamental shift in communications and brings both the skills and passion to immediately deliver for our clients."
Jonas joins WE from Access Emanate, where he spent five years as vice president, digital strategy. There he lead a bi-coastal team of digital strategists and analytics specialists helping organizations effectively interact across digital platforms. Prior to that, he spent three years as director of social media at Access Communications. Before that, he spent nearly seven years at Bite Communications as account manager, and the account director. He has also worked for various clients including PayPal, Capital One and NIVEA.

Jonas joins other recent Bay Area hires including Steve Kerns as general manager and Pia Chatterjee as vice president. WE Communications has 18 offices worldwide and approximately 700 employees.
