Shannon Stubo

CMO & SVP, Corporate Communications
LinkedIn

Shannon Stubo Brayton — a PR veteran in the tech sector — added marketing to her repertoire this year when LinkedIn’s VP of marketing Nick Besbeas  parted ways with the company. Brayton stepped into the role as interim CMO, adding to her existing comms duties. It’s been reported that Brayton and LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner are on the hunt for a permanent replacement.

Brayton joined LinkedIn in 2010 as VP of corporate communications, responsible for driving the company’s worldwide communications activities, including media relations, financial communications, social media and consumer PR. Prior to joining LinkedIn, she was the senior director of corporate communications at OpenTable from 2008 to 2010. During her tenure at eBay, she lived and worked in Zurich, Switzerland as the director of European communications. Shannon also worked at Yahoo from 1998 to 2001 and at Intuit from 1994 to 1998.
