After spending almost 30 years at Unilever, Aline Santos has become a high-profile presence at the FMCG giant, responsible for overseeing its diversity and inclusion agenda in addition to her marketing leadership role. In particular, Santos heads Unilever’s #Unstereotype alliance, which has seen the company take the lead in efforts to stop stereotyping women in its advertising. 

Santos joined Unilever as a marketing trainee in 1989. During her career she has held several senior marketing roles, including helping to reposition Dove and overseeing Persil’s ‘Dirt is good’ campaign.
