As HSBC’s global head of social media engagement, Abby Guthkelch is responsible for designing, leading and delivering the financial services giant’s social media engagement strategy; and integrating and embedding social media across the group to provide one voice for the brand to drive brand advocacy and preference amongst its various audiences. And Guthkelch is well-suited to a role that requires a considerable level of strategic insight — she has spent more than a decade in senior communications roles at both in-house and agency, and has a track record of integrating digital and social media across external and internal communication to create content that starts conversations.
