During her 13-year tenure at adidas, Sarah Gower has seen its evolution from sports brand to fashion label. She’s now the brand’s managing editor in Western Europe, after taking the risk of joining former H+K colleague Steve Martin (now global CEO of M&C Saatchi Sports and Entertainment) to set up adidas’ in-house PR team from scratch in 1997. She then became head of PR in 2005, including overseeing the brand’s sponsorship of the London Olympics in 2012. She’s an exceptional PR all-rounder, innovating in every area of her remit, including digital strategy, social strategy and media, integrated marketing, crisis communications, event management and media relations.
