The Holmes Report is calling on PR professionals and clients to take part in the 2018 Global Communications Report — which will again define the future of the industry and those who will shape it.

Last year's study polled more than 800 public relations executives from around the world, along with 700 public relations and communications students and in-house marketing executives, revealing the considerable convergence of PR and marketing

This year's survey will also include a specific focus on ethics in PR, following the Bell Pottinger scandalIndustry professionals from both the agency and client side can take the survey here. The deadline for responses is February 9, 2018.

Findings from the survey will inform the annual Global Communications Report (GCR),
which provides insight into what lies ahead for one of the worldís most dynamic professions and for the students entering the field. The results will be presented at the Kenneth Owler Smith Symposium at USC Annenberg on April 12, 2018, featuring keynote speaker Richard Edelman.

The third annual GCR is presented by the USC Center for PR in partnership with AMEC, Global Alliance, ICCO, Institute for Public Relations, Arthur W. Page Society, PR Council, PRCA UK/MENA, PRSA, PRSSA, The Holmes Report, WorldCom Public Relations Group and Edelman.
