LONDON—3 Monkeys has hired Howard Bowden from Clarion Communications as head of consumer content.

Bowden returns to 3 Monkeys after previously working there six years ago. His arrival is one of three new appointments at the independent agency, which has also hired Steve Munachen as associate director and Alex Perry as senior account director.

An ex-national newspaper journalist, Bowden will drive 3 Monkeys' focus on producing content across all major accounts including Morrisons, Microsoft and Three, with additional support on new business and media training.

Munachen arrives from Australia's Pulse Communications, while Perry previously worked at John Doe.

“We’ve enjoyed a run of new client wins including United Biscuits, Onken, Honeywell and Barratt Homes, to name a few,  and we’re now looking to push our consumer and brand offering yet further for clients with these three strategic - and very exciting - appointments," said 3 Monkeys managing director Christine Jewell.
