4Kids Entertainment Names Stagg to Lead Communications

4Kids Entertainment, a global provider of children’s entertainment and merchandise licensing, announced today that it has appointed Barry Stagg as senior vice president, corporate communications.

NEW YORK—4Kids Entertainment, a global provider of children’s entertainment and merchandise licensing, announced today that it has appointed Barry Stagg as senior vice president, corporate communications. He will report to Alfred Kahn, chairman and chief executive officer, and will be responsible for implementing a global communications program to expand the awareness of 4Kids’ current properties and operations, as well as new brands and business ventures.

Stagg has developed and executed strategic, global communications programs for some of the world’s foremost entertainment companies including Fox Family Worldwide, Lorimar/Warner Bros. Television and Embassy Television (now Sony Pictures Television). As senior vice president, corporate communications at FFW, he led the communications campaign behind the Power Rangers phenomenon and the launch of Fox Family Channel.

Most recently, Stagg was driving communications activities at emerging companies in the new media space, including Amp’d Mobile, SMS.ac and Diino.com.
